How to prepare successfully for the SSAT?
We have been preparing students for the SSAT exam for 10 years. During this time, we have tried different strategies and preparation algorithms. Let's outline the main steps for successful SSAT preparation:
Start preparing 4-2 months before the anticipated test date. This is the optimal timeframe for students with an average level of knowledge. Take a practice test to assess your current level of knowledge and determine a strategy for further preparation. You can take a practice test with us.
Sign up for a practice test.
When working on the mathematics section, begin by studying Math Terms and Reading Algebra. This will help you understand the specifics of the tasks more quickly.
Study English words and their synonyms. In the Verbal Section of the SSAT, you will need to find synonyms in 30 out of 60 questions.
Read as much as possible in English. Try writing essays. Your essay does not affect the SSAT test results, but it will be attached when sending the score report to educational institutions for analyzing your writing ability.
Practice with SSAT practice tests. On average, during the preparation period, we manage to solve around 65 tests with our students.
